iPhone headphone adapter

I have some Sony headphones that don't fit in the stupid recessed headphone jack. Can someone recommend me the smallest adapter so I can plug any headphones in.

That grey Belkin thing is a no go cause it looks stupid.

I have an adapter by Shure that also incorporates a mic so you can turn the heaphones into a handsfree kit.

Apple's adapter looks quite small and minimal, but it's 19 bucks. Well worth it I think though.

I have the Griffin adapter, works well. Anything that elongates the connector (the apple and belkin ones) is very bad indeed, you risk damage to the contacts in the port.

Thats the TTY adapter not a headphone adapter.
I suppose it could work but kinda overkill.
And much cheaper solutions are available.

I got two adapters on eBay for about £6 (inc delivery).

Do a search for:

This one looks ideal. Small conncetor and a cable will mean its flexible. Good for when tis in pocket.

Won't the ones off ebay take ages to come as they claim to be from like hong kong..
