I have been trying to find a cable adapter that will let me split the four-conductor jack on apples headphone with mic so that i can connect it into a pc that has separate audio and mic jacks. I recently found this, http://www.arcade-electronics.com/detail.aspx?ID=18538, and was wondering if would work or not. Thanks!

Honestly... maybe. I'm not sure, and I'll also admit I'm not a pro at this in the slightest. All I can say is that this splitter / adapter works for me and it's what I use for my headphones :\
