My iPhone headset works as a mic and earbuds in OSX, but when I switch over to Bootcamp, only the headphones work. Is there a driver or something that can make the audio in port work the same as it does under OSX to use the mic as well?

I searched MRoogle, but to no avail.

Thanks!

Also looking for an answer to this.

iPhone headphones can be used in OS X, and both the speaker and mic work. In Boot Camp, only the speakers work. Any way to get the mic on the iPhone headphones working in Boot Camp?

Thanks.

You have put your mac OS discs in and it'll come up as drivers. You need those drivers to use the features of bootcamp

No offense to you guys, but neither of you know what you're talking about.

iPhones come with Apple earbuds with a mic.

When plugged into a Mac, you can use the Apple earbuds to listen and the mic to talk (e.g. when video chatting via Skype).

When running Boot Camp, however, only the earbuds work — the mic does not. It does not show up in the list of available audio input devices. I am searching for a way to enable this capability.

Does anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks!
