I'm looking for a good way of monitoring and recording my heart rate/pulse while running/biking. I've tried to find ways of doing this with the iPhone and the most promising combo I found was this:

Receiver: Fisica Fitness Sensor Key

Sensor: Garmin Heart Rate Monitor

App: 321Run

(or any of these apps -> http://www.wahoofitness.com/Apps/Apps.asp)

Has anyone tried this combination? If so is it worth getting or are there other, better alternatives?

Thanks!

I just heard about the Scosche Mytrek http://scoschemytrek.com/ and it looks very interesting, especially because no chest band is involved. Not sure when the device will be available (summer? fall?) but the app is already in the AppStore.

hyeee that's great, you have come out with really interesting app...I appreciate your skill..:) looking forward for such developments!!
