iphone Help Desperately Needed

I have an iPod Video that has over 900 songs on it. All the songs are stored on the ipod itself, and also my PC. I also have a MacBook that has 200 songs on it. I've just bought the iPhone 3G and have transferred all of the songs on my MacBook onto it. Then I plugged my iPhone into my PC to transfer the 900 songs on there onto it as well, but it won't let me! Is there any way around this?
