i hope one of you guys can help me with this

when i plus my iphone into my laptop it says it malfunctions but when i plug it in the wall charger its fine what do you guys think it could be

I used to get this issue with my original iPod until I did a factory restore and bought a new USB cord that was faulty.

What do you mean malfunctions? Like a drivers issue?

If anything, try re-installing iTunes, or restore your iPhone.

It might be an issue with the USB wire or the USB port on the laptop or software driver issue with the laptop.

tried my camera and the usb was fine and tried uninstalling itunes and didnt work

it says it cant find the softwear for the phone even tho i have used it on here many times

Yep, sounds like a driver issue with your laptop.
Did you update to the latest itunes and still has problems finding or installing the iphone drivers?

itunes is upto date it only started today but Sunday and Saturday it worked fine with the same itunes
