I have an iPhone 2 that I use as a prepaid phone with no data plan. Whenever I sent out text messages, the phone emits very high radiation (>1800mW/m2 & 20 V/M) that irritates me. I use an Electrosmog Meter to measure the radiation emission.

It seems so high. Does anyone have any similar experiences?

Isn't radio frequency on the wrong end of the visible spectrum to cause damage to human tissue/DNA. The wavelength is longer than that of visible light. Its on the opposite end of the spectrum than ultravoilet, x-rays, and gamma rays which are the ones that cause damage. Radio frequencies are completely harmless. In fact less harmful than visible light.

Why you would use an iphone 2g for a no data prepaid plan makes no sense though. A regular feature phone would get like 7 times the battery.

Yes, my iPhone actually burns my fingers. What is even sadder is other cell phones can emit over twice what you iPhone does.

If you just ignore it your finger will turn black and will not hurt anymore!:p
