I have a Iphone 3g, worked fine up until a few days ago. I have never dropped it or anything. Out of no where the home button quit working. even if i push hard it still won't work, I can shut down the phone and turn it back on and it may work a min., Now if the phone is plugged in and charging the home button works fine. It's not jail broke so i know that isn't the problem. any suggestions? I really don't have money to buy a new phone. any help would be appreciated.

You can just find some technician on the web and they can fix it for you.
i had the same problem like a year ago when i had my iphone 3gs.
i found a guy from craigslist, and went to his house and he replaced it for me for $40 or something. it was really weird because it was my first time to actually go some random person's house and got my phone fixed in like 10 mins!
