iPhone iCal just wont work

Any hekp would be much appreciated

I have an iphone 4, latest user release of iOS. My iCal just doesn't work at all. I can't add events, it doesn't sync events, it just does nothing. It has not done anything for a while, I restored the iphone BUT still doesn't work. Phone is not jailbroken.

Any thoughts much appreciated please

What is your calendar supposed to be syncing with? MobileMe, gmail...?

I cant enter any data on it from my iphone it just crashes the whole phone, nor will it sync calendar with my mac or mobileme
