I find it odd that I can't click on the location of an event in iCal on the iPhone.

When I schedule in a job, I fill in the location field and when the day comes, I expect that I can hit the location and it would open in Google Maps where I could get directions there.

The location isn't clickable so I have to memorize the address and type it in Google Maps (an instance where Copy + Paste is necessary).

It's such a blatant omission that I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong, such as inputting the location in the wrong format or if I have something turned off in the Settings.

Any help or comments?

I went ahead and tried different formats including the ZIP/Postal Code and no format made the location clickable. It seems that Apple just didn't implement it, which is strange considering it's a "location" field and could have been labeled as such for use by the mapping system. :(
