Randomly started happening... I have a 2013 iMac and a iPhone 6, and when you plug it in to the iMac it rapid connects and disconnects. Ive tried multiple things; change cords, try different ports, tried different charging sources, clean ports a little bit, wiggled and waggled. And with that, nothing? Anyone have any idea how to approach this!?

Do you have any other iOS devices you can try with your iMac to see if they do the same thing? I had an older iPod do that and it turned out to be defective. Is your iPhone 6 still covered by the Apple or carrier warranty? Another question: Does iTunes "see" your iPhone 6 when the phone and your Mac or PC are on the same network (without attaching the phone to the computer)?
