iPhone importing to Photos app - forgot to import erase

Hi,
I might have forgotten to "import and delete" my last import. How can I easily delete 1500 photos/videos from the iPhone since they are now already imported?

what about iCloud? Are there any ways to compare what is on iCloud and import if anything is missing and then clean that 50GB iCloud photos/video and start over?

edits: oh found the select and drag-drop to delete. Any thoughts with iCloud?

Use Image Capture to select all and delete would be my recommendation.
