iPhone in Airplane Mode - Can Not Activate

I wasn't paying attention and I had my iPhone in airplane mode when I updated to 2.1. Now I can't activate my phone, I am assuming it needs service to activate. I am on hold with Apple now, but who knows how long that will take.

Please tell me someone knows how to fix this. This is the original iPhone, not 3G.

After spending 30 minutes on the phone with Apple and then them telling me to go to an Apple Retail Store. I figured it out on my own.

All I had to do was call a number and then it popped up with the option to disable airplane mode.

I feel like a dunce, but at least I figured it out on my own.
