Got a soon-to-be-rare 8Gb iPhone today, love it.

I have an iPod AV (I think that's what they're called) dock that connects to your hi-fi and has an Apple Remote for well, remoting!

I've had a few iPods now and they've always come with a base adaptor so the iPod fits in it.

My new iPhone hasn't come with one. Is it missing or not supplied?

I know it has its own dock but you can't use the remote with it, which is a bit of a shame.

If anyone could enlighten me before I ring somebody!

Thanks

I've read that it works "but is a bit loose" so i guess that means there's no dock adapter :/ Maybe someone has made a 3rd party one?

Also I've read than the video part doesn't work with the iPhone, but music works just fine.

I believe you can buy them at the Apple Store for a few dollars
