iPhone in Universal Dock - remote for Keynote?

I've bought a universal dock to be able to have the Apple remote as a remote for my KeyNote presentations.

But all the remote does, is turning on music.
I hope this isn't the only feature for the remote.

Any help is welcome.

I would like to know the same thing. I can't find one thing online that doesn't direct me to iPad and iPhone controlling options via bluetooth. FRUSTRATING!
