Which insurance provider will you guys be purchasing? What are the cons and pros for each. Thanks

Neither.

With the way the iPhone 5 is built a screen replacement can be done in 10 minutes & for $35 in parts.

Apple stores will be doing it in house for $50. I'll take that with fries please.

I'm going with squaretrade since I bought my phone online from Verizon. Oddly, it didn't give me the option to choose applecare. Now if I want applecare, I will have to go to an apple store over 200 miles away to have my phone checked first.

try Protect your bubble as they cover loss and theft which Squaretrade and Applecare dont

Better look at the complaints on this as well. Posted a link a day or so ago, and some liked it and some had issues with the company. Do a research first please....

No you don't.. If you are over 50 miles as has been reported on this forum, you can call AppleCare + sales and they will sell you the AppleCare +

800-275-2273 (AppleCare)

Thanks!

I did some research and bought AT&T's insurance. (Not sure who underwrites it, maybe Square.)

$7/mo and loss replacement > $100 up front.

The deductible is higher but I want loss/theft replacement.
