So I have an iPhone 4S which overall works great. But I'm curious if the newer iPhone 5, 5C or 5S have louder internal speakers? I often now use my iPhone at work to listen to music while I'm in the dairy cooler (I work at a grocery store). Now bear in mind that their are fans going in the cooler to keep things cold. But even so the 4S even at it's loudest volume sounds pretty quiet. Can anyone vouch if the newer iPhones have a louder peak volume level? My co-worker has an Android phone (I think Samsung) which is definitely louder then my iPhone 4S.

Yes they are way louder and u will be satisfied.

I find my 5 about the same as my 3GS and 4, but 5s noticeably louder. Not sure if that's true for everyone.

I don't have a 5 or 5s but the moto X I picked up 2 weeks ago is very loud. Much louder than the 4s etc and my old galaxy nexus.

Could always try one of these out... they surprisingly work fairly well.

LOL That's awesome! But a bit much. I want to upgrade to a new(er) iPhone anyway but financially speaking I may have to just wait until my contract is done to do so. I'm still under a 3 year contract but Canadian carriers have recently changed it to 2 year contracts. I can't get mine changed to 2 years for some reason.

It surprisingly works well too! haha

Tell them you'll leave them if they don't let you go to 2 years, they'll change quickly.
