Looks like the final version IOS 4.2 will be released on November 7th. Will hopefully fix the Alarm bug issue? Also great for people wanting to unlock their iPhones since the Dev team is said to release the unlock for 4.1 and 4.2:D

And you came to this conclusion how? Hint: the article posted above is BS and misled. The DST issue is resolved Nov 7th becuase DST ends.

1. there's no official announcement that says Apple is releasing 4.2 on November 7.

2. The bug is going to "fix" itself on November 7 when the US switches to Standard Time, finally joining the rest of the world. But, 4.2, when it ultimately does come out, will fix it for-real, for when the next time change happens.

In fact, it's point 2 that's pointed out in Apple's support documents that certain people interpreted (wrongly) to think that 4.2 was coming out... on a Sunday, no less.

I mean, really? When has Apple (or Microsoft or most other computer companies for that matter) released an OS update on a Sunday?

I thought the first guy was foolish for posting the first thread on this subject. But the second post is just completely over the top hilarious.
