iPhone/iPad and Exchange Passwords

could some one shed any light on how you manage exchange passwords?

The problem is when someones exchange passowrd expires (their AD account) you have to manually change this on the iPad - is there any way that this is done automatically? Or a way to prompt a user that their exchange password has expired and they will need to update the iphone?

Just wondered what everyone else does in this situation
