So I have an iphone, ipad, macair, and imac...like I am sure a lot of you guys have.....

JUST curious...the iphones and iPads share applications. Can the imac share the app. I purhcased a map for my trip to rome to have on my iphone..but I would love to be able to look at it on my 27inch imac.

Is that hoping for too much?

iOS apps can be shared on iOS devices only, not to OSX

In other words, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch can share iOS apps

Macs cannot run iOS apps, they run OS X

Sometimes, you'll find a OS X version of your iOS app in the Mac App Store. If so, it's likely they have a sync service (or maybe even iCloud) so your data might even be across all your devices.

Of course, you'll have to pay for OS X version separately, if it's not free.
