Hello,

I've bought an iPad 3 and am currently awaiting delivery, i already own an iPhone 4 and have spent a lot on apps, i know that they will be available on my iPad but my question is, if there is an iPad version of an app, will this also be free?

For instance, say the eBay app, i know it's free but there are two different versions, would i have to download an iPad specific version of that app or does it use the same download/automatically retrieve the right version?

A brief response to summarise it would be great!

Cheers

Sadly yes, you will need to buy apps twice some times for iPad and iPhone.

If its not universal.

Ok thanks so i see on appstore, that Area 51 Defense has 4 versions, a free and pro version for iphone and the same for iPad. I paid for the pro iphone version, so now I have to pay again for the iPad? Damn!
