iPhone/iPhoto transfer not happening.

I updated my iPhone to the new iOS the other day and have been taking a few pics. Today when I tried to transfer the pics to my iMac it stated that the phone was locked, which it was. I unlocked it and the phone asked me if it was ok to "trust" my iMac. I said ok. Then I clicked OK on the iMac after unlocking the phone and it seemed to go into an endless loop of "loading' and never would transfer the pics. I rebooted my iMac, as well as my phone but got the same thing.

Any thoughts? All input welcomed.
