Iphone/Ipod apps multiple devices

Hi

I have an iphone and my girlfriend has an ipod touch.
Does anyone know if we have to purchase apps twice
or will we be able to buy an app and put it on both devices?

I'm pretty certain when you purchase an app it is for one device only

Actually I could be wrong. I guess we'll have to wait a day and see

That is incorrect-- applications are licensed for all devices "controlled by you"-- in other words, as long as you sync all of your devices through the same installation of iTunes, you can put the application you paid for once on all the devices.
