 I have attempted to search the old threads, but not finding the same question that I’m asking.

I have had an iPod/iTouch that I synched with my XP Notebook-iTunes.

I recently upgraded from my Nokia to the iPhone-4. As I wanted to move my contacts from my old Nokia to my new iPhone, I used the iTunes in my home’s Vista Desktop.

Now I’m traveling and I want to update and add Apps to my iPhone—while still maintaining my iPod as the main music source.

However, when I attempt to synch—it wants to “erase” all apps, video, music, etc., from the iPhone and replace it with the Library from the iPod.

I would like to:
1. Synch BOTH devices with individual settings (I know that iTunes remembers each devices' setup)
2. Allow to Synch the iPhone to the two machines
3. Merge the App Libraries to pick-and-choose which devices gets which App.

Am I asking too much?

Many-many thanks to those that can help!!!
