I think people here know better than I do Apple's pricing history...

Do you think that programs released through the SDK and sold on Itunes would be a flat price to buy the application or do you think it will be more of a monthly rental/recurring price structure?

Also if it is a one time fee, is it too much to hope that major software applications (slingplayer as an example) would be under $20 or is that too much to hope for?

I believe apps won't be a one time flat fee, different apps do different things. I believe it will be a one time variable fee. A simple tetris game will be much cheaper than a document suite. I would think high end apps could cost more than $20 as well.
 
Are all of the apps released from using the SDK going to cost money? Would there be any free apps, or are they forced to be put on iTunes to be sold?
