iPhone iPod

Hey just a quick question. Recently with the latest software updates I am noticing when my ipod is playing in sleep mode and I turn the screen on via the home or power button, it goes into the home screen rather than my ipod screen. I then have to press the ipod icon for it to return..

This doesnt happen all the time but it does get annoying when I'm driving and have to switch songs

Any ideas..is something wrong or what?

Happened in 2.0 also and happens still.

I have noticed it, but that's why I turn off the auto-sleep function. I wish there was a cheap add-on clicker that would work like the microphone does on the earbuds. I usually have my iPhone on a playlist with hundreds of songs and just want to skip forward until I find something I want to hear.
