iPhone is a GREAT iPod for sound... better'n my 1gen shuffle 4gn iPod

Don't know if it is common knowledge, but the first generation Shuffle has a great audio chip in it.

Better than the other iPods, from what I remember, up through 5th G. Better than the 2g Shuffle, too --
in fact, this reviewer says the original Shuffle had "the best sonic fidelity of any of the iPods"

But, from my little ol' ears test at home just now... NOT better than the new iPhone. Great audio on it. Steve was right... it IS the best iPod Apple ever made.
