iphone is disabled try again in 10 minutes

guys, i have 3gs, jb and unlocked on 4.1, i also have shsh saved.

i had some guests over and one of the kid tried more then 10 times and entered incorrect passcode and now it shows this message "iphone is disabled try again in 10 minutes".

what are my options, i do not want to lose unlock. please help.

i am back to normal, glad it worked fine.

i was worried as search returned that only way to fix is by restoring it.

and i have been trained by applejuiced and others not to do anything without checking on here... so had to post and clarify it.

I would just disable that lockout feature. I don't see the point.

I think Applejuiced would say fallow instructions 1st. if that fails search. if that fails ask. Sounds more like the Applejucied I know. But I am sure he will pipe in as well.


Also 1+ what scirica says I never use it since I never let anybody I don't know or trust use my phone. That is a very small list of people my daughter, myself and couple others. Pass code is just annoying.

applejuiced reference was in a humorous way. i did search and most of the posts were to restore and connect to itunes, which obviously i would not do in any circumstances without checking here.
