I had my old iPhone 2G in the charger dock and went to drab it and it was burning hot so i quickly pulled it out of the dock and let it sit there and it kept turning on and then off for like 5 min then stayed on. The screen seems to messed up now on it but other then that it works ok. There seems to be a solid line the goes diagonal across the screen.

I scheduled an appointment tomorrow for the genius bar. Think i will get a new one even though i dont have service on it anymore since i got an iPhone 3G? I know i have apple care for atleast another year on it.
Edit: I tryed shutting it off and it wont. I hit turn off and it just goes to the apple logo and starts up again.
