iPhone Jail Break

Hello thar!

I have an iPhone 3GS, with no sim card. I use it as an iPod.

What is the latest jailbreak and is not tethered? I have 4.3.5 right now.

Right now the jail break I am using is tethered and every time my iPhone dies I cry a little on the inside because I am just lazy to reboot it through my PC each time lol.

If there is no new jailbreak available is there i way i can downgrade my software and get a jailbreak for that?

Download tinyumbrella, plug your phone in and run the program. Go to the advanced tab and select request from cydia.
Then Click save shsh and see what blobs are available for your device.
Anything 4.3.4 and higher will all have tethered JB for the moment.
4.3.3 and below are untethered so if you have blobs you can downgrade to an older firmware version and JB untethered.

In that case I'd just leave it alone for now and wait for the next untethered JB to be released.
