After playing a song on my iphone, it just died. Won't turn on the screen, all buttons do nothing and silence through the headphoens. The iphone just shut off without a way to turn it back on. Anyone know if there's a reset method or something i could try? Looks like my iphone is dead.

edit: tried plugging it to the computer via the wire, nothing. Just a blank black screen.

Try charging it, may have lost all its charge.

Hold down the home button and lock button for several seconds. Hopefully, that will reset your iPhone.

hold the 'home' and 'on/off' button for 10 seconds.

EDIT: beat me to it.

As for why it happens... computers are programmed by humans. Hoomuns maek miztaeks.

Anytime your phone 'acts weird', it's a good thing to do a quick reset, or just turn it all the way off for 10 seconds.
