Iphone Keeps tuning on and off

Oh No my first issue with a Iphone!
My Iphone keeps getting to the apple logo which you get when you switch it on then it goes black. It then reboots and gets to the apple logo again and then turns off

has anyone had this problem or has anyone any ideas on how to solve it?

You should plug it into itunes and do a restore. You might need to put it into dfu mode first.
