Thinking about it... it wouldn't be too bad if laptops came with an exchangeable trackpad and it was possible to click your iPhone into your laptop and use it as some kind of enhanced multimedia trackpad...

I know it depends on a lot of different things but I think this could be pretty sweet. I surf the web quite a bit on my iphone and I think this could work well for that. Price shouldn't be too much.

The "lapdock" has a completely different version of OS X on the screen than the iPhone runs. There's no possible way that would work with the storage (and processing power) on any iPhone made today. Besides, who wants a 400Mhz laptop? eBay has plenty of those for $300.

That mockup reminds me of the El Camino and Chevy Avalanche. Ewwwwww.
