IPhone Launch Vets, need some advice!

I stayed up till 6am on pre order night to leave empty handed trying to get a verizon iphone 6+ grey. So now im stuck trying to create a gameplan. I live in greenville sc a fairley pretty popular city.

Should i goto the main Verizon corporate store or apple store?

Around what time should i be there to be in the front line?

Do you guys think there will be any stock of the phone 6plus at launch for stores?

I would appreciate the advice.
 
It's gonna be crazy no matter where you go since you are looking for the 6 plus. They seem to be in short supply for whatever reason.

My only suggestion is to go get in line as soon as you reasonably can. It wouldn't surprise me if those camping out were after the 6 plus, as stock of the regular 6 was available for some time on Friday.
 
If I realllly wanted a 6 plus I would only go to apple store/ and I would go around 2am Thursday night
 
Only ever been to one launch, the 4.

I didn't preorder this go round, I'll be camping starting Thursday at 10am at an Apple store as opposed to AT&T store due to suspected availability being higher at Apple store, as well as demand though.

Theories:

Apple store = higher inventory (but greater crowds/demand)
Carrier/Other stores = lower inventory (but lesser crowds/demand)

Seems it could really be a 50/50 tossup. Throw in variables about what you want in terms of capacity, color, and 6/6+ and it gets complicated.

Definitely chewing up idle brain processing for me this week trying to figure out...
 
My biggest problem is I work for bestbuy mobile and have to be at work at 7am. I was gonna sit in line and wait till 645 my girlfriend was gonna take over and be in line for a hour.

My question is if she is a authorized user on my account could she get one for me?
 
I'm a vet of the OG, 3G, and 4 line waits. The only one I didn't do at an Apple Astor was the 3G and I regretted it. The AT&T store for the 3G was pretty much out of iPhones by the time I got to #20 in line. I'd suggest the Apple store highly.

If my girlfriend is a authorized user for my account can she pick it up for me at the apple store?

I have a terrible week ahead

Working Thursday 1-9
Sitting at apple from 12-8am
Work 830-8pm
Work Saturday 9-7
