Personally i don't really like who they lay out the standard, like in the adverts or the one shown on the packaging box.... i quite like my layout:D. how do you have your set

p.s. images are being hosted through me.com, so they might not work
lol
you need to change the format they are in, the links currently don't point to images, so its not working

anyway, i keep it as it is generally, as im used to it like that, although i swap mail and sms around, and remove youtube and stocks

yeah, they work fine now
do you find many of the icons from the app store too dark, it makes the iphone screen look flat and boring

also, how you go get the iplayer icon? i can add a webclip to the homescreen, but its not the same as the one you have, its just a screenshot of the website

all i did was to bookmark the site iplayer.bbc.com or whatever it is. they may have changed it, but its still should work with the iPhone. although they have changed the site recently.

and yeah, the images on some things are way too dark but since i dont know how to change them, im going to have to stick with what i have got then.

Cool thread! I'd really like to see how others lay theirs out. Right now my first page is pretty much the way it comes + remote, 2nd page is non game apps like Facebook and AIM and 3rd page is games.

I put 'Settings' on my main Dock at the bottom. I haven't seen others do that, but I use it a lot to fiddle with settings, so I like having it there.

I took 'Mail' off and put it up with SMS and AIM...all the text-communication in one row.

Now that I think of it, it makes no sense to have text messages anywhere but the bottom row for me, since I get so many. I switched the locations for iPod and Text. I use text WAY more than i use iPod. My bottom row (the one that doesn't move) is now: Phone communication: (Phone, Text) and Internet Communication: (Safari, Mail).

3 pages.

Applications on the left page, main programs in the middle, and games on the right page.

The footer has contacts, SMS, Phone, and mail.

:)

Unfortunately, if you download an app update from the iphone, that app is deleted from its original position and sent to the last page. So custom layouts don't keep for very long. I don't think this happens if you update the app in iTunes and then sync it to the iphone.
