I am just wondering. With newer iPhones having to have usb c. Why isn’t Apple offering an exchange program for those who have Apple lightening cables.

This would make so much sense and save on eco waste. If Apple are so much into caring of the environment then this would be something they should offer.

I am sure they can make adjustments to the lightening connector and switch it to usb c.

Apple as a company doesn’t care about the environment. They care about their image and their bottom line. And the answer to your question is money. Never do anything for free that people are willing to pay for.
