iPhone-like music playing app for OS X?

iTunes is not great for selecting and playing music. The iPhone Music app GUI is basically perfect. Compact, concise, just want you need and nothing more. Is there any OS X app out there, that basically functions exactly like the iPhone Music app for playing songs in your iTunes library?
