I keep the MacRumors home page cached in Safari on my iPhone 4, iOS 4.2.1 when I shut it down overnight. When I boot up the phone in the morning, launch Safari and go to the cached MacRumors page, when the page comes up, the page layout blows up.

If you reload the page, the layout corrects itself.

This is the main page of the regular site, not the mobile site.

This doesn't happen with any other cached site.

Anyone else seeing this problem? If you are, let MR know. It's trying to figure out the problem, but it would also like to know if its a one-of-a-kind thing, or something more wide spread.

Looks more like it didn't properly load all the way. How is your Internet connection? If it's too slow or from where you are it has too many hops, it may be dropping too many packets and that is why you're getting it like this.

FYI - The net connection is "n" wi-fi to cable modem. No problems with speed or capacity. And remember, it doesn't blow up with other cached sites.

It's probably a Mobile Safari glitch, not a MacRumors glitch. Just reload the page. If it's been cached all night you'll want the latest news anyway, right?
