iPhone Mail and SMS Reminders

I am wondering if there is any way to have to phone continually remind you if you have unread SMS or Mail messages. My RAZR did this and I can't seem to find a similar functionality on the iPhone. Thanks

I asked this same question last week and was told there is no feature to do this. I loved it on my old phone where if I was in a meeting and could not read the message, it would remind me later on if I forgot.

Maybe on the next update...
