iPhone Mail app & S/MIME ?

does the iPhone's Mail app support S/MIME ?

I have not been able to get it to work with either the iPhone Mail client, or the Exchange Mail Client on my 3GS, because our company transcripts a lot of MIME types of messages, but then again I am not surprised because there are a lot of attachments I also can not open.
