I've also asked this in the iPad forum...

Anyone have an idea on how to get an email to send (in this case, Outlook) if it has too many replys?

I'm not talking too many, just half dozen or so, but the mail app won't send it unless I trim the he'll out of it. Not good for corporate emails.

I get the same thing with the iPad mail app.

I'm a little dense. You need to explain what you mean by a reply. I don't understand how replies to an email affects your ability to send out the original.

Maybe you mean multiple email addresses or mass mailings???

Reply text that is in the email. Let's say 6 people have already responded and there's 100 lines of text in the email that will go along with your reply (quoted text)

Ok, I didn't know of this limitation. Probably a limit on the length of the email and replies really have nothing to do with it. Typically I'll trim this type of email before replying. Email size and attachment size can be a problem with any email system.

Perhaps you should show an example, possibly with a screen shot. I seem to remember email threads that have exceeded half a dozen replies and I have been able to reply to them. I went looking for them just now and can only find threads with 4 or fewer replies. I have noticed things will "vanish" from the inbox on my iPhone and I'll have to "search on server" to get them back. Perhaps that's what happened to those email threads I remember with 6 or more messages in them.

So what happens when you try to reply? Is the reply arrow missing, does it simply not work, or does it appear to work but the message never goes out?
