Is there a guide somewhere that talks about email encryption on the various iPhone models/IOS software? I'm trying to find out specifically about mail and attachment encrytion on the device and if it's done natively thru the OS or a 3rd party utility is needed.

iOS5 supports S/MIME in its email client, and of course SSL connections to email servers.
