iPhone Mail Message Body is not always included in forward or reply

I experience that some times when I reply or forward a message the whole message body is included. Sometimes it is not. Does anyone who knows more about HTML vs Rich Text vs etc... know what is happening? I assume it has to do with original format of email, but am not able to figure out what makes some work and the others not.

Tried HTML, rich text, and a mix today, and they all forwarded and replied perfectly. I am stumped. Can't figure out what would make some messages not forward the text body.
