iPhone Mail - SSL error using EDGE (none with WIFI)

Hi guys,

Having a bit of trouble with my mail app on the iPhone. Since i upgraded to 1.1.1 (i think since then anyway) Mail has been giving me error messages regarding SSL encryption upon trying to check mail.

I connect to my campus mail server to retrieve mail using SSL. this works absolutely fine when i'm on a WIFI network (whether i'm on campus or not), but doesn't when i'm using EDGE. The message says to verify the SSL settings. They are all perfect and it retrieves mail using WIFI no problem. Any ideas?

If no-one has an idea or experience with this problem, where can i submit the bug to Apple?

i've just called Apple and they gave me some BS about having to be on the campus network to receive mail....

however i connect to the server perfectly from home and receive mail on my powerbook.

ugh. any other ideas?
