hi

i've only had this two times till now but still
I had the iPhone in the back pocket of my jeans.
I am definitely sure that I had a screen lock but somehow the iPhone managed to make 10 or more calls. every time someone hung up, it kinda redialed a few minutes later... When I looked at the call list i was surprised to notice that it had been calling only people on the list...

any feedback?

Do an experiment. Keep it out of your pocket, for say 45 minutes. Then check back to see if it's doing the same thing.

If so, try restoring it.

i did that already. seems to be working perfectly fine. the issue happened twice... suggestions? restore should help?

You have what is known as "Butt Dialing Syndrome". I was once a sufferer.

Actually, carrying the phone in your back pocket seems risky. Perhaps you have a hardshell case of some sort?

My cure was for jailbroken phones only...I installed "AskToCall" which is a popup dialog that verifies that you want to dial.
