When I tap or gently hit the iPhone 4S on the top front right (top left in the back), it makes a rattling noise like something is loose or shaking.

Mine does this as well, I was waiting for someone to post about it, I have a Genius Bar appt for Tuesday when I know it has slowed down a bit, if I dont hear it on every other one I am getting a replacement that does not do this.

I was thinking it was possibly the new vibration module...can anyone confirm that their does it as well?

Vibrate switch. Nothing to worry about.

Mine is not the BACK - LEFT side when looking at back on top, right around the precious camera module and all around it...if I tap it rattles...when my phone vibrates on a desk...it rattles like cheap phones should...not something that costs $650+ off contract...
