Hey all,

I just got back from three weeks travelling yesterday. Have switched on my iPhone and have been through a plethora of app updates, etc. The strangest thing though: the iPhone speaker has now made the sound of a gunshot twice, and the sound of some sort of mechanical movement also.

I have no idea why this sound is coming out as it's only happened whilst I've been in the native apps (phones.app, messages.app and mail.app). Does anyone have any idea why on earth this is happening? Has anyone had any similar problems?

this is really strange and worrying for me. My phone has never been jailbroken.

Thanks all.

p.s. the only time I may have possibly heard the sound before is through blipr, the push messaging chat/noise app.
