iPhone 12, iOS 26.3 (beta)

Good morning. I have my own personal iPhone, not linked to any work place or educational establishment or MDM and I am the sole administrator. Doing some clearing on it, after an iOS update recently, I noticed in my Passwords app, in the WiFi section, 3 WiFi networks that I did not recognise, named WiFi Extra - 2 of those - and a WiFi+. Each of them were labelled “Managed”. Everything about that was new to me. I tried to delete and forget those networks by selecting each one, swiping left and tapping on the Trash icon. The result, from a pop-up box was that “Managed networks cannot be forgotten” and the selected network will not be forgotten.
An internet search seemed to confirm this, but I could find no source for removing them.
I have gone through the posts https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/phone-thinks-its-managed-by-an-org.2470184/ and also https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-26-1-beta-4-bug-fixes-changes-and-improvements.2469469/ - searching for "Managed by your organization" posts.
There are no VPN-associated profiles installed
I have tried “reset all network settings” - all erased except the Managed networks; they persisted.
I have turned off Auto Join networks and also turned to Ask when new networks are discovered
Can anybody help me with this? I really don’t like the idea that 3rd parties can assume a System Admin’s role on my own iPhone and, although I appreciate that those Managed Networks are redundant and can do nothing, I just want them gone!
Thank you for any help/advice you can give.

I think these are Wifi Networks managed by your Carrier. So depending on the SIM-Card. Carriers are able to add EAP-SIM Wifi Networks through their SIM-Card. You can`t delete them. They are adding them so you don`t have tpo authenticate manually and it is done by your SIM-Card.

You can see all Carrier Wifi Networks when you go to "Settings -> Wifi -> Edit (upper right corner)" and then scroll down. I don`t use my carriers wifi and I just disabled Autojoing.

These managed "Wifi Profiles" are included in the Carrier Bundle which your Carrier Provides to apple.

Thank you for your helpful reply. When I noticed this on my iPhone and came across someone else’s answer, mirroring your own “solution” I called my carrier (O2) to ask if they bundled in these Managed Networks. Their answer was “Absolutely not”. My package with O2 is a SIM only basic one.
