iPhone Menu Bar

Wouldn't it be cool if the menu bar acted more like OS X? For example clicking on the battery would bring up options to change brightness or other things to increase battery life. Or clicking the play sign when music is playing to advance a track or other options.

Also different apps could have contextual menus at the top.

This would make it much more complicated but I think it would be cool.

It would be different if that's what you mean by cool, but exactly what the iPhone will never be. Apple had a plan to make a VERY SIMPLE and intuitive interface, and that's what they did. They won't ever make it complicated much like WinMo. The idea would be nice as a possible layout option, but they won't make it permanent.
