iPhone mic not working

So a few days ago I got my iPhone replaced for a bad lock button. That night I was talking on the phone with my bestfriend and I could hear her but she couldnt hear me. It would work fine for a few minutes, then it wouldnt work. Work for 45 minutes then wouldnt work. She called me from bother her cell, and landline so we know its my phone. Whats wrong? Needless to say, Im not happy at all that Im having issues with a phone i just got replaced.
